If you are searching for a holistic facial in northwest Wales, my practice offers calm, natural facial treatments designed to support both skin health and nervous system balance. Each facial uses organic, earth-focused skincare and gentle therapeutic techniques to help reduce stress, support circulation, and restore the skin’s natural glow.

Located in Bangor, Gwynedd, I work with university students, professionals, and local residents seeking a more mindful approach to skincare. I treat all ages and skin phases, with specific offerings for sensitive, reactive, or changing skin. Clients visit me from all over North Wales: Bangor, Caernarfon, Holyhead, Pwllheli, and Llandudno for a more mindful approach to skincare—one that values long-term skin health over quick fixes. Check out my booking page HERE.

What Is a Holistic Facial?

A holistic facial is a skin treatment that works with the whole body, not just the surface of the skin. Rather than aggressive techniques, holistic facials use gentle touch, organic products, and rhythmic massage to support the skin’s natural processes.

Benefits of Holistic Facials

A holistic facial typically supports:

  • Stress reduction

  • Lymphatic circulation

  • Skin barrier repair

  • Nervous system regulation

This approach is particularly helpful for sensitive, reactive, or stress-affected skin.

Holistic Facial Treatments

A shorter facial designed for busy schedules and regular maintenance. This treatment focuses on calming the skin, easing facial tension, and supporting hydration and circulation. Depending on your skin concern, I use Esse or Weleda skincare products.

Recommended for:

  • University students

  • Stress-related breakouts

  • First-time clients

  • Monthly skin maintenance

A deeper, more restorative treatment that allows time for extended massage, lymphatic support, and full relaxation. Depending on your skin concern, I use Esse or Weleda skincare products. Facial massage with a focus on Lifting or calming inflammation can be added.

Best for:

  • Chronic stress or jaw tension

  • Sensitive or inflamed skin

  • Long-term skin health

  • Anyone seeking deep relaxation or needing a full nervous-system reset.

Part of my bespoke Signature facial treatments, with more time and space to rest and receive. Each bespoke signature treatment is designed with the client in mind and responds to their skin in the moment. Therapeutic facial tools may be used including gua sha, facial cupping, acupressure wand and lymphatic brushing.

Organic and Earth-Focused Skincare

All facials use carefully selected skincare brands that prioritise organic ingredients, sustainability, and skin barrier health. Products are chosen specifically for your skin type, sensitivity level, and current skin condition. Treatments may include botanical extracts, probiotic formulas, and gentle actives chosen specifically for your skin’s current needs. I currently use and stock Esse Skincare and Weleda.

No two facials are the same — each session is tailored to your skin type, sensitivity, and lifestyle.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are holistic facials good for acne?

Yes. By calming inflammation and supporting the skin barrier, holistic facials can be especially helpful for stress-related or adult acne.

Is a 30-minute facial enough?

A 30-minute facial is ideal for maintenance or busy schedules. A 60-minute or 75-minute facial allows for deeper relaxation and more intensive support.

Are your facials suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. Treatments are gentle and fully customised, making them suitable for sensitive or reactive skin. The coastal and northern climate of northwest Wales can challenge the skin. Cold weather, wind, damp conditions, and indoor heating often lead to dryness, sensitivity, redness, and dullness.

Do I need to be a student to book?

No. I welcome students, professionals, and local residents alike, and I treat people of all ages.
